Seminole County Druid Hills Water Treatment Plant – PWS # 3590111
A precautionary boil water advisory was issued Thursday December 10, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m. due to work being performed to isolate the old water treatment plant from the distribution system in preparation for the demolition of the old plant. Once the existing line is capped and work is complete, the distribution system will be flushed and collection of bacteriological samples will commence as a precautionary measure. (182 service connections were affected).

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used. This "Precautionary Boil Water Notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
